Equestrian Center

A newly built stable with 10 boxes and saddlery, immersed in the green and tranquillity of the Umbrian countryside.

At the Poggio Del Pero Equestrian Centre there are numerous paddocks with stables for our horses and for those who wish to come on holiday with their horses. The facility also has a saddlery, a clubhouse and a 20×40 sand rectangle with lighting. We also offer riding lessons for children and adults. We look forward to welcoming you to the centre and meeting the person who will look after your horse.

The Stables

We offer boarding for horses in boxes or spacious paddocks with a shed, and the possibility of accommodation for those who want to come on holiday with their horses, or want to stay overnight during a multi-day trek. We take care of horses and riders!

The Structure

In a panoramic position, it is ideal for organised treks every day and suitable for all types of riders. You will be accompanied by our horses and an experienced guide. Horsemen and horsewomen of all ages and levels will be followed daily by instructors from the first steps to competitive riding in the discipline of dressage.

Our Horses

The Bardigiano horse is a docile but strong-hearted animal that allows us to experience trekking serenely, tackling any type of terrain. Also suitable for children, it allows them a pleasant approach to riding.

Horseback Riding

Riding through woods and along ridges with magnificent views of Lake Trasimeno in the saddle of a beautiful horse offers unforgettable emotions. At the Centro Ippico Poggio Del Pero it is possible for everyone to experience the thrill of horse riding in different ways according to their abilities.

An expert guide will take you over the magnificent Umbrian hills with our Bardigiani horses or in the company of your inseparable horses that you can bring with you.

Customised excursions are also organised for several days with accommodation for horses and riders.

Riding lessons

Lessons are adapted to the needs of the individual, and can be one-to-one or in small homogeneous groups to ensure that each rider is given the best possible attention.

Emphasis is also placed on care and respect for the animal; each student learns how to clean, saddle and handle the horse they are riding, always under the watchful and expert eye of the instructor.
